The Champs: Greg Gilbert
Came up late in the dynasty, and tallied 31 goals with 35 assists in 79 games during the 1983-84 season... also played with the Chicago Blackhawks, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues... the only dynasty player to also play on the Rangers' 1994 cup-winning team... retired after the 1995-96 season and went right into coaching, spending four seasons behind the bench of the Worcester Ice Cats, a St. Louis Blues affiliate in the American Hockey League... was AHL Coach of the Year and The Sporting News Minor League Coach of the Year... Under his direction, the IceCats made the playoffs every season... moved on to Calgary as an assistant coach of the Flames in 2000, and was named head coach in March 2001.
