His regular-season statistics usually didn't jump out at you, but when your season was on the line, there was nobody you'd rather have in nets than Smitty... recorded 132 playoff wins, second on the all-time list... his other Hall-of-Fame credentials are etched in silver: in addition to the Stanley Cup, you can find his name on the Vezina trophy (awarded to the league's outstanding goalie), the Jennings trophy (awarded to goalies who lead the league in goals against average), and the 1983 Conn Smythe trophy (awarded to the most valuable player in the Stanley Cup playoffs)... holds team record for most seasons played (17), most games by a goaltender (675) and most wins (304)... currently an assistant coach with the Florida Panthers.
