A promising young center who just couldn't find a spot in a very talented Islander lineup... in 1977-78, scored 75 goals and 80 assists in 66 games for the Lethbridge Broncos of the WCHL... was part of the 1979-80 Islander championship team, scoring five goals and eight assists in 45 regular-season games... racked up 19 goals and 17 assists in 61 games the following year, but was traded to Colorado toward the end of the season... best season was 1981-82, when he scored 29 goals and 30 assists in 79 games for Colorado... scored 25 goals the following year for the New Jersey Devils... finished his NHL career with 160 goals and 150 assists in 553 games... is now vice president of player personnel for the Vancouver Canucks, responsible for player development and professional scouting on the West Coast.
